Ingenico (Euronext : FR0000125346 - ING), leading worldwide provider of payment solutions, today announced the launch in Europe of its Next Generation Loyalty solution for retailers and quick-service restaurants to interact with digital consumers via smartphone, website or in-store.

Ingenico is changing how retailers interact with today's digital consumers by making social, local and mobile services a reality and accessible to any retailer globally by using Ingenico's cloud based technology.

Ingenico's Next Generation platform and smartphone application combines loyalty, gifting, promotion management and secure payments across multi-channel retail environments including web, POS, mobile POS and self-service kiosks. Customers can redeem coupons against product purchases, via a QR Code and collect loyalty points which can be collected for product savings and discounts.

Ingenico developed its Next Generation Loyalty platform to combine secure payments. This is unique within the industry and builds on over 30 years of payment expertise to deliver a true multi-channel payment experience for the consumer. This solution supports Ingenico's offering to help retailers and quick-service restaurants extend their consumer's shopping experience across multi-channel environments.

Ingenico's smartphone application and platform is able to provide the latest geo-location services. These geo-location services allow retailers to provide targeted offers to consumers compliant with local laws and based on, for example, spend history, store preferences and behaviours; and allows consumers locate their nearest store and to find offers local and relevant to their needs. Ingenico's solution allows consumers to opt in or out of these services at any time, ensuring the retailer is compliant with local privacy laws. The platform and smartphone application can be used by retailers as a standalone module or combined with existing self-ordering application such as 'click and collect' use cases.

Pierre-Antoine Vacheron, Executive Vice President and Managing Director Europe-Sepa, Ingenico, commented: Mobile technology is revolutionizing the retail experience for both businesses and consumers. Many leading retail brands are already using the very latest mobile point of sale technology to eliminate long lines, reduce lost sales from long waits, and target their customers with relevant offers. This latest application from Ingenico will set a new benchmark for retailers wishing to take advantage of the very latest in mobile point of sale technology, whilst ensuring full compliance with all payment regulations and standards. With minimal set-up effort required, it's a genuine 'plug in and play solution' that can deliver real bottom line results for our customers."

The solution builds upon the combined expertise of Ingenico and its loyalty services division easycash Loyalty Solutions, in secure transaction processing and management of private label programmes for large organisations. Programmes can be implemented either at local or multi-country level and support franchisee operation models. To date easycash Loyalty Solutions runs more than 90 card programmes and has issued over 60 million loyalty and prepaid cards making it one of Europe's leading providers of consumer based services.
