NMB Bank migrates to T24 model bank

Sofgen Holdings Limited, an international provider of IT solutions for banks, is pleased to announce the successful conversion of NMB Bank's core banking system to Temenos T24 model bank.

NMB Bank is a fast growing commercial bank offering a wide range of products and services to the Retail and Corporate sectors of the banking market in Zimbabwe.

The project was multifaceted, comprising an upgrade from version G12 of GLOBUS to R10 of T24, incorporating Browser and the migration from multi-company accounting to multi-book.

"We needed to update our core banking system to support future growth and diversification," commented Benson Ndachena, CFO of NMB Bank. "The SOFGEN and NMB Bank teams worked together tirelessly to ensure that the project was successfully delivered. This has paid dividends as evidenced by the smooth transition which occurred on the 1st August 2011."
