ID Analytics, a leader in consumer risk management, announced today the first partnership agreement of its kind for ID Analytics with iovation.

With this partnership, iovation's device reputation technology will be integrated into ID Analytics' identity risk management products and services, providing customers with new, innovative identity fraud mitigation capabilities.

ID Analytics has long been a leader in providing solutions related to identity, fraud, and credit risk. By partnering with iovation, ID Analytics is expanding its definition of identity beyond its traditional elements (Social Security number, name, address, phone number, date-of-birth, IP address, and email) to include device identification and reputation intelligence for smart phones, PCs, tablets, and other Internet access points.

"This partnership with iovation allows ID Analytics to better solve our customers' identity and fraud problems by leveraging our unique insights into U.S. consumer behavior and iovation's view into the reputation of devices," said Steve Seoane, senior vice president of Enterprise Solutions for ID Analytics. "We believe these combined capabilities will be effective at reducing friction for 'good' customers during high-risk online and mobile transactions, while reducing the risk of identity fraud losses from suspicious activity."

ID Analytics and iovation have a common approach to creating value for clients—sharing data and best practices within and across industries to help stop fraud and abuse. ID Analytics' flagship fraud solution, ID Score, is powered by the ID Network, one of the nation's largest networks of cross-industry behavioral data. Similarly, iovation stops over 150,000 fraud attempts daily by leveraging consortium intelligence on over one billion devices from around the world.

iovation's device reputation technology, ReputationManager 360, combats cyberfraud through actionable intelligence, sharing the latest fraud methods, and exposing high-risk devices through the direct interaction of thousands of cyber security, fraud and abuse experts in financial services, gaming, gambling, social networks and retail.

"With intelligence sharing at the heart of iovation's solutions, it was a natural fit to combine device reputation with the information from ID Analytics identity theft detection technology," said Jon Karl, vice president of Corporate Development for iovation. "The combination of the two distinct areas of insight will provide online businesses with an extra layer of assurance that their customer identities and transactions are legitimate."
