OneMarketData, the founders of OneTick, a single solution for complex event processing (CEP) and tick data that spans both historical and real-time, today announced that Invesco, a leading independent global investment manager, selected OneTick to perform customized transaction cost analysis (TCA) analytics on its executions.

Invesco will use OneTick's powerful analytical tools to build custom TCA models as well as to run historical simulations and conduct quantitative research.

Increasingly, long only asset managers require custom TCA to manage their multi-broker, multi-asset class transactions. Invesco taking its TCA activities in house with OneTick signals a growing trend across the industry. By streamlining TCA into its internal investment decision support process, Invesco benefits from an easy to use, fast to deploy and inexpensive TCA system that delivers tailored results.

"Transaction cost analysis has long been an important part of our investment process," said Kevin Cronin, Invesco's Global Head of Equity Trading. "We wanted to increase both the level of sophistication of our analysis and experiment with new approaches. OneTick empowered us to take control of our TCA by allowing us to customize our analyses and embed them into our investment decisions with a quick, simple, and cost-effective tool."

"TCA is far too important for asset managers to outsource any more. Across the industry, the trend for discerning asset managers is to bring TCA in-house so that customer models can be built and modified to suit their needs, particularly as markets continue to evolve," said Richard Chmiel, Senior Vice President at OneMarketData. "We are pleased to be working with Invesco to provide them with the tools required to understand, with precision, their execution quality."

Built from inception as a single integrated system, OneTick allows users to create a single code-set for historical analysis and real-time signal generation. Users are able to apply OneTick analytics to historical and real-time data queries, significantly lowering the total cost of ownership and standing out against similar systems. Users benefit from minimized costs related to licensing, installing and overseeing various data management systems which don't have the ability to collect aolollect and analyze historical and real-time data. The platform also aids in extensive quantitative research, strategy development and thorough back-testing through bull, bear and other market-impacting conditions.
