John has over 40 years of international financial markets experience, within a variety of high-profile positions. At Telerate Systems Inc, he was elected to the Board of Directors and previously held various senior managerial roles as Senior Executive Vice President, Managing Director Europe and Marketing Director. He then moved to Bridge Information Systems Inc as Managing Director Europe and served on the Executive Committee. He started his career at Reuters, in London, as financial editor and senior marketing executive.

He is currently a business consultant, based in London, specializing in corporate restructuring. Until recently he was non-executive Chairman of Logicscope Inc, a provider of post-trade solutions to the foreign exchange market (acquired in September 2011 by MarkitSERV).
