Based in New York, Mountaineer primarily trades equity, distressed debt, and related instruments.

Mark Lee, founder of Mountaineer, commented: "Last year, when Mountaineer started thinking about a comprehensive risk management solution, we were attracted to Imagine's reputation within our organization and throughout the industry at large. In addition to equity and distressed debt instruments, we needed a system that could handle equity derivatives, CDS, converts, preferreds, and futures. Imagine was more than capable of supporting all the asset classes we required."

Following implementation, which concluded at the beginning of this year, Imagine now provides the firm with real-time P&L, exposure analysis, robust overall risk management capabilities, and comprehensive data management. Imagine streamlines the trade life cycle by acting as a conduit between Mountaineer's execution management system, prime broker and fund administrator.

Imagine also features an ultra-secure and reliable cloud-based software solution that is sophisticated yet easy-to-use. It now provides Mountaineer with all the institutional-grade functionality and scalability needed to support the fund's anticipated growth.

Yvonne Dahl, Global Director of Sales and Marketing at Imagine, said, "We greatly appreciate Mountaineer's selection of Imagine. Their choice is a firm validation of our product and service offerings, and we are pleased to help sustain Mountaineer's growth objectives by providing the support they need for superior decision-making and maximum operating efficiency."
