To date, 200 BMO Cash ATMs have been installed, with plans to deploy more than 400 by year-end. The new BMO Cash ATMs provide a fast and convenient way for customers to access their money, either through a withdrawal or cash advance. Also, surcharges and month-end Interac fees for BMO debit and credit card customers are waived. The ATMs are designed for cash-only transactions.

"At BMO, it's our mission to provide a great customer experience and make it easier for Canadians to manage their finances, whether in-branch, online or on the go. The significant expansion of our existing full-service ATM network to include the new Cash ATMs is a reflection of that commitment," said Andrew Irvine, Senior Vice President, BMO Bank of Montreal.

Mr. Irvine added that the new ATMs will be installed in grocery stores, pharmacies, gas stations and post-secondary school campuses, as well as various other locations across Canada.

As part of the expansion, BMO has added the BMO Branch and ATM Locator function to the BMO Blue Room™ mobile app. The free, easy-to-use tool helps customers quickly locate the nearest branch or ATM from their mobile device, and is available on iPhone and Android smartphones. The BMO Blue Room mobile app is designed to help customers gain a deeper understanding of their personal finances and bring clarity to important financial decisions, including the purchase of a home and retirement planning.

To celebrate the latest additions to BMO's banking services, customers that make a withdrawal using their BMO debit card at any new Cash ATM by May 31, 2012, will be automatically entered into a draw for a chance to win one of five prizes of 10,000 AIR MILES reward miles.
