GlobalPlatform, the organization which standardizes the management of applications on secure chip technology, has announced Shanghai Fudan Microelectronics Group as its latest Observer Member.
The leading Chinese chip design company focuses on the development and manufacture of application-specific secure chips, across multiple sectors including automotive, mobile/telecoms and payment.
In joining GlobalPlatform as an Observer Member, Shanghai Fudan Microelectronics Group will bring a wide range of knowledge and experience in the manufacture of secure chips for specific functions, further strengthening the organization's membership base of chip manufacturers.
