Orc, a leading provider of technology and services for the global financial industry, announced that Marcelo Sacomori, a Sao Paulo-based market maker, is using Orc Market Maker for advanced options trading and market making strategies on the BM&FBovespa exchange.

Marcelo Sacomori is using Orc Market Maker, a server-based trading solution designed for options trading and quoting, to quote options on futures on the BM&FBOVESPA. It leverages Orc's 20 years of experience in building and deploying high-performance options quoting solutions.

Marcelo Sacomori commented, "Orc Market Maker has been a very good fit for my trading. I needed a solution that was fast, easy to use, and painless to deploy. Orc fit these needs perfectly with a very fast and reliable trading platform that will help increase my business in this market."

Ruben Guerrero, Brazil Sales Director for Orc, noted, "Orc has made great strides in the Brazil market. Marcelo Sacomori is the latest example of a demanding Brazilian trader coming to Orc to increase his business in this growing market. We are happy to add him to our high-performing customer base."

Orc Market Maker addresses the present and future challenges of market makers, including the need for low-latency quoting and to efficiently reach multiple markets using a single interface. It adds key features for sophisticated volatility and pricing management, including a rich volatility management interface and a Volatility Model API which facilitates development of proprietary models. Orc also provides pre-defined and configurable volatility models, as well as built-in pricing models for accurate quoting and hedging.
