M-Via, the company revolutionizing how families save and share their wealth, today announced that Alfred Pepping IV has been hired as managing director and general manager, Mexico. He will be responsible for the business in Mexico and Central America, helping to generate sales, market awareness and distribution relationships with banks and retailers.

Pepping has nearly 30 years experience working in the finance, mobile payments and pre-paid market. Prior to joining m-Via, he was president and general manager at Avantsar, an enterprise mobile communications company located in Mexico. Before that, he was vice president, pre-paid products at MasterCard International. Pepping has also held executive positions at Computec, Analytica, Citigroup and Dun & Bradstreet. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in mechanical engineering
In his new position at m-Via, Pepping's goal is to establish Boom as the premier banking solution for the unbanked recipients of U.S. remittances in Mexico and Central America
