Actant, a leading trading solutions provider, announced today the availability of its Quote and ExStream Trading Engine for CME Group markets which supports trading or market making in options and futures.

Recently adapted to facilitate unparalleled access to CME, CBOT, NYMEX and COMEX markets (or products), Quote and ExStream bring the programming flexibility needed to overcome the challenges faced when developing safe mass quote automation or order execution management trading strategies.

Authorized CME Group Market Makers, using Actant's Quote product, can benefit from a state of the art quote management application fully optimized to ensure that real-time theoretical options prices are applied to the most time critical quote updates. Using QT Script, market makers can develop their own automated quote management strategies without compromising on safety or performance.

Market Takers, using Actant's ExStream product, can benefit from unrivaled access to the CME Group markets. Using Quick Script, traders can develop custom algorithms capable of executing multi-leg multi-asset class options and futures trading strategies across all CME Group exchanges and deploy these strategies within minutes. The Actant Hit-Lift methodology is also unparalleled as it vastly reduces latency in seeking and capturing trading opportunities.

Rob Prior, CEO of Actant Inc, said, "Our Quote and ExStream products deliver a mass quote management and algorithmic trading capability we believe is unrivalled. Users will enjoy the benefits of developing their own trading strategies in real-time, with the flexibility to quickly modify a strategy to take advantage of changing market trends, all without compromising on performance or safety".

With connectivity and latency issues already taken care of for Actant traders on other exchanges, the addition of a new market such as CME Group also allows them to demonstrate their skills in algorithmic trading in a whole new arena.

Adds Prior, 'Our trading engine, Actant ExStream enables maximum participation in new markets, and we already have trading strategies in our algorithm library that provide extra edge. Our. Our simple scripting language offers, additionally, the possibility that customized algorithms can be requested, contracted, and turned around in unprecedented timelines from our team of scripting consultants.'
