DataCash, a MasterCard company, has today announced the launch of the DataCash White Label Payment Gateway service, which will allow global banks and processors to provide market-leading DataCash payment, fraud and risk management technology to their global merchant customer base, utilising their own brand.

Acquired by MasterCard in October 2010, DataCash strengthens MasterCard's existing payment gateway offering in APMEA, which today provides over 80 banks in the region, with a white label service for card processing. Combining DataCash technology with MasterCard experience, the DataCash White Label Gateway service delivers greater geographical coverage, unparalleled fraud and risk management tools and a vast range of alternative payment options, all-supported by exceptional sector specific experience.

"Now a MasterCard Company, DataCash's vision is to partner with global processors, banks and merchants to enable e/m-Commerce for everyone, on every device, everywhere, utilising leading payments technology. This is a great step in furthering this vision." said Ajay Bhalla, president of DataCash.

What is the White Label Payment Gateway service from DataCash?
Powered by DataCash, the new white label offering enables global banks and processors to leverage the benefits of the DataCash Payment Gateway, currently used by some of the world's most recognisable brands in the gaming, travel, retail and finance sectors. Organisations working with DataCash in this capacity can expect to prevent the effects of market marginalisation, fill capability gaps, enhance payment security and fraud prevention measures, future proof their technology and ultimately stem costs and associated revenue losses.

The white label service will allow banks and processors to retain greater control of the flow of the e/m-commerce value chain by offering merchants a range of the following capabilities:

• A single pipe solution that removes the complexity of payment processing
• Management reporting portal, secure and resilient card processing, hosted solutions to reduce the burden of PCI DSS and an option to provide merchants access to up to 45+ Alternative Payment Methods'
• Management of the demands of multiple; consumer demographics, geographies, channels, devices and payment types
• • Value-added services, such as fraud and risk management tools, to both reduce losses, increase sales and improve customer experience
New and innovative tools are also being developed to allow global banks and acquirers to efficiently manage their merchants using these services, with automated; on boarding, configuration of payment options and fraud screening rules.

The first global acquirer to implement the new DataCash service - Elavon, leading global payments provider - announced the launch its Global E-commerce Gateway solution to merchants in Europe in February 2012. The Global E-commerce Gateway solution powered by DataCash will expand payment options, reduce fraud, and ultimately improve sales for Elavon merchants accepting e-commerce payments.

"We are delighted to announce that Elavon is now working with DataCash to launch their Global E-commerce Gateway in new geographies across the globe, bringing secure end-to-end processing and service to businesses everywhere. We look forward to bringing other new global processing and acquirer partners on board with this solution." said Ajay Bhalla, president of DataCash.
Elavon provides integrated payment processing to 1.2 million merchants worldwide, processing over 2.5 billion transactions annually.

"The combination of Elavon's acquiring experience, processing reach, and financial stability, with DataCash's gateway expertise, fraud controls and unmatched connectivity results in a win-win for our customers," said Simon Haslam, president of International Markets, Elavon. "We are pleased to be able to provide one point of service and support to our clients as their global commerce needs evolve."
