Additionally, Yapı Kredi is also the first Turkish bank to provide Mobile Banking services for all mobile platforms simultaneously, with native apps for iPhone, iPad, Android and BlackBerry and m.ykb.com for all other mobile devices. As a result of these successful applications, Yapı Kredi has captured a significant market share in the space of 2 months and earned the most positive market reviews for a local app in Turkey.

Yapı Kredi is now advancing with another first in the Turkish market: Bump to Send! Thanks to Bump to Send, Yapı Kredi Mobile Banking users can transfer money to another mobile banking user with just a shake of their iPhone. To make a transfer using Bump to Send, both sender and receiver should have the Yapı Kredi iPhone mobile banking application installed on their iPhones and be logged on to the application, as well as being in the same location at the same time.

Bump to Send is a value added service within the Yapı Kredi iPhone Mobile Banking application and was developed using GPS and accelerometer. The service transfers data by establishing communications channel between the devices.

The Yapı Kredi iPhone Mobile Banking Application, which includes Bump to Send, can be downloaded free-of-charge from Apple Store or from www.yapikredi.com.tr/mobil via a QR code. The "yukle.ykb.com" link can also be accessed from mobile phone browsers to download the application.

"As Yapı Kredi, we strive to be where are our customers are and to provide them with innovative services of the best quality. Bump to Send is a result of this vision. We will continue to be the pioneer of the firsts and innovations in our sector by following up on customer needs and the fast paced developments in technology" says Yakup Doğan, Assistant General Manager in charge of Alternative Distribution Channels..
