Groupama has used Colossus to help evaluate personal injury claims since 2006. As a result, the company has been able to ensure greater consistency with the claims evaluation framework Colossus creates for assisting handlers in assessing injuries, treatment, resolution, permanent impairment and general damage settlements.

Colossus version 7 features an improved browser-based graphical interface, business intelligence dashboards, real-time management reports and automatic straight-through processing of medico-legal reports.

"Colossus is an important part of our overall plan to bring greater consistency and control to our claims processing," said Darren Wills, director of claims, Groupama Insurances. "The improved user-friendly interface in the latest release will support our goals of continuously enhancing our claims evaluation process and increasing client satisfaction."

"CSC has a proven history of success in delivering personal injury claims technology, and Groupama's confidence in Colossus offers great validation for continual innovation," said Steve Mitchener, president of CSC's Financial Services Group in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. "Used by some of the largest insurers in the United Kingdom, Ireland and United States, including four of the United Kingdom's top seven and 20 percent of the top 30 U.S. insurers, Colossus helps claims handlers consistently and fairly evaluate claims."
