For small and medium sized deployment of Digipass for Java Phone in the Corporate Network Access (C.N.A.) area, VASCO has developed an out-of-the-box solution. A customized solution is available for medium to large deployments for C.N.A., e-commerce or e-banking. The out-of-the-box version of Digipass for Java Phone is available via VASCO's indirect sales network and acts as a one-time password generator. The customized version of Digipass for Java Phone will be sold directly by VASCO. The e-signature functionality can be added to this version.

The end-user will be able to easily install the Digipass software on his/her mobile phone, by means of Over-The-Air provisioning (OTA) or through the GSM provider's synchronisation tool. In order to be able to use the Digipass, one has to introduce an activation code into one's mobile phone. The activation codes will be provided by VASCO through VASCO's channel partners.

"The launch of Digipass for Java Phone illustrates the ongoing effort of VASCO to broaden its range of Digipass authentication products," said Jan Valcke, VASCO's President and COO. "The interoperability of the Digipass product line is a great asset for VASCO and its customers. Companies can literally pick the most suitable Digipass model for every type of customer."
