This announcement comes with the rollout of Metavante's NuEdge Suite of products and services as part of its core processing solution. Metavante is the financial technology subsidiary of Marshall & Ilsley Corporation (NYSE:MI).

Metavante financial institution clients can now have this fully integrated, next generation Marketing Customer Information File (MCIF) in an Application Service Provider (ASP) hosted environment, or as a licensed, in-house solution. Metavante acquired NuEdge Systems, the largest provider of marketing automation solutions to the financial services industry, in October 2004.

"Our research indicated that standard MCIF applications are slow to integrate campaign management, marketing analytics, and response analysis engines, which are critical in determining how to attract new accounts and further develop existing relationships," said Dawn Dillon, senior vice president, Salem Five Bank. "Metavante's NuEdge Suite was the exception by successfully providing us with all of these functions for a complete view of our customer relationships within its comprehensive, outsourced banking solution."

Salem Five Bank is the first Metavante client to deploy its NuEdge Suite solution in an outsourced, ASP environment. The Metavante marketing automation solution includes:

  • Data integration, consolidation, cleansing and householding
  • In-depth query, analysis, reporting and customer segmentation
  • Campaign management – streamlines the process of sending targeted individualized marketing communication to customers
  • Campaign response analysis – in-depth marketing response analysis leading to detailed marketing ROI capabilities
  • Browser-based dashboards for displaying key performance indicators (KPIs)

"The recent agreement with Salem Five Bank validates our strategy to provide financial institutions with an extensive marketing automation offering that drives their marketing initiatives for increased profitability," said Paul Danola, group president and chief operating officer, Metavante Financial Solutions Group. "Salem Five is a perfect example of how we position Metavante's resources to help banks in all market segments improve their overall performance through individualized marketing that strengthens customer loyalty."

Since 1995, Metavante has been providing Salem Five Bank with products and services from its banking and payment solutions, which includes financial account processing, electronic funds transfer and card, electronic presentment and payment, and electronic banking.
