Transactor Poland is leasing additional office space for up to 30 staff in Cracow following its successful launch in September 2011.
Transactor Poland is a wholly owned subsidiary of Transactor Global Solutions Limited (TGSL) and the operation currently employs 9 people, providing development, EDI (Electronic Data Interchange), and testing support to TGSL's main UK business.
"The enlarged facility will provide additional headcount around the launch functions of development, EDI, and testing support," explains Ian Blakesley, Chief Technology Officer, TGSL. "And we are also going to move our second and third line support functions to Poland over the coming months with plans to establish aggregator support services in the enlarged Cracow office.
"Two good reasons for selecting Cracow for our Polish office are its great communications, and its superb academic facilities, which turn out impressive numbers of quality graduates with relevant IT qualifications every year. We have been very pleased with the speed and determination our Polish staff get up to speed, and they are already making a valuable contribution to the business across a number of fronts."
Long standing TGSL employee Greg Gazda relocated back to his home country from TGSL's Halifax office to establish the new enterprise.
