The new Web site offers Commerce Bank's customers a customer-service-focused online banking experience by providing the choice of either English or Spanish as their preferred online banking language.

"Commerce was eager to provide our Spanish-speaking customers with the best online banking experience in their native language," said Tim Graham, vice president, Internet banking channel Manager, Commerce Bank. "The flexibility available to us in the Corillian Consumer Banking solution enabled us to seamlessly incorporate multilingual capabilities into our solution, while still maintaining the functionality and usability of our award-winning online banking service. Corillian has been a great partner for us and the multilingual functionality of Corillian Consumer Banking not only meets our high standard of customer attention and service, but it also enables us to advance our leadership in online banking."

In addition to Spanish, all Corillian applications support other Latin-based languages such as English, French, and German; Asian-based languages like Japanese, and Chinese; as well as support of right-to-left languages like Arabic, Hebrew and Urdu. Corillian applications also provide support for dialects of languages and any specific localized derivation that a financial institution would need to support its unique customer base. In addition to multi-language capabilities, Corillian applications also provide for the user experience to be displayed in the local currency of the financial institution.

"Increasingly, leading financial institutions like Commerce Bank are seeking more specialized tools to target a growing diverse customer segment base," said Alex Hart, president and CEO of Corillian. "Being able to meet the needs of the various customer segments within an online banking experience is setting apart the leaders from the followers and provides a compelling competitive advantage to financial institutions. The best practices and flexibility available in Corillian Consumer Banking and other Corillian applications allow our customers to provide industry-leading online banking services to their customers and set them apart from their competition."
