Xansa, the outsourcing and technology company, has announced an extension to its outsourcing partnership with AXA Sun Life.
Commencing on 1 April 2006, the contract is valued at £27 million and will be delivered over five years.
Under the new contract, Xansa will continue to support AXA's Life and Pensions systems, including its business-to-business capabilities, building on the work delivered in recent years. This has included the successful delivery of AXA's innovative "Protection" product along with a major business initiative to enable AXA to adapt to lower margin life and pension products.
In future, Xansa teams based in the UK and India will support the AXA mainframe and other business applications covering the full range of business processes including finance, marketing, human resources and management information services. Through the partnership, Xansa will support AXA Sun Life to help deliver products faster to the marketplace.
Commenting on the announcement, Alistair Cox, Chief Executive, Xansa said: "I am very pleased that we continue to build our relationship with AXA. Real benefits are being achieved through the expertise of the Xansa teams in the UK and India working in close partnership with AXA UK IT, and we fully expect this to continue into the future."
