Effective immediately, Wincor Nixdorf's subsidiary Prosystems IT will provide remote services to both savings banks for a total of 141 installed self-service systems. The contract includes services that range from remote monitoring to remote fault detection and resolution. The two savings banks thus benefit from increased self-service system availability and significant cost savings.

According to the agreement, all self-service systems at both banks will be connected to Prosystems IT's monitoring system and monitored there in real-time around the clock, including immediate problem reports and remote maintenance. System availability can be greatly increased thanks to significantly faster fault detection and the associated reduction in downtimes in the event of an actual error.

Wincor Nixdorf has been a partner of the two Thuringian savings banks for many years now. "It's important to us to provide our bank customers with self-service around the clock, with as little downtime as possible. That makes high self-service system availability critical. Prosystems IT's remote services were very convincing," explains Ralf Heise, who heads up the IT department at Kyffhäusersparkasse.
