The solution helps financial institutions improve operational efficiency, reduce operational risk and enhance scalability and performance.
Filip Versluys, head of partner management at SWIFT, commented: "The SWIFTReady accreditation process is a vigorous testing operation where we use stringent criteria to ascertain that the reconciliation solution accurately and reliably meets SWIFT standards, messaging services and connectivity requirements. With an accredited solution, customers can be confident that they are conducting their business in accordance with the industry benchmark. SunGard's solution has been accredited for the twelfth consecutive year, highlighting its continued commitment to satisfying the standards established by the global financial services industry."
Jennifer Hanes, executive vice president, reconciliations, for SunGard's Ambit Corporate Banking business unit, said, "We are extremely proud to again achieve SWIFT accreditation, which we see as a testament to our dedication to support the most current industry standards. SunGard's IntelliMatch solution suite helps meet the diverse reconciliation and exception management, payment investigation, trending and analysis, and report and document archiving needs of financial institutions across all lines of business to help reduce cost and risk while improving performance and efficiency."
Separately, SunGard has enhanced its IntelliMatch solution suite to help financial institutions optimize enterprise-wide processes for reconciliation and exception management while alleviating the dependency on internal IT departments or exterIT departments or external IT resources. The new version of IntelliMatch gives business users multi-touch tools to help them easily and visually automate complicated workflows and improve management control. The new version also includes enhanced trending and analytics capabilities.
Two core enhancements to IntelliMatch are:
- Business flow manager helps business users achieve end-to-end process flow automation through visual representation of rules and logic. Business workflows can be built using Web-based, multi-touch technology, giving users greater control and helping reduce dependencies on internal and external IT resources.
- Improvements to core analytics functionality provides advanced charting, filtering and sorting of data, helping users quickly navigate or investigate trends as well as highlighting areas of interest. Potential trends such as spikes in volume, increases in breaks or persistent counterparty failures can be identified and acted upon more rapidly through new automated flow or rules logic, helping improve efficiency.
Jennifer Hanes, executive vice president, reconciliations, SunGard’s Ambit Corporate Banking business unit, said, “While increasingly essential, business process automation projects are often quite complex and involve protracted internal IT implementations which limit their flexibility and hamper the control of the business manager on these processes. The new enhancements to the IntelliMatch solution suite provides business managers with user-friendly tools to help them easily and quickly create, monitor and optimize business process workflows. ”
