IBT a leading innovator of financial services products and best of breed solutions in process innovation and customer experience, today announced that its client, The Bank of Tescott with branches in Salina and Lincoln KS has selected i2Teller Front Counter Teller Capture in an effort to streamline teller operations and avoid unnecessary exception processing.
In todays' customer centric environment with a focus on the customer experience, teller branch operations become an important delivery channel. To serve its customers in the best possible environment, The Bank of Tescott chose IBT's Front counter teller capture because it allows the teller to interact with the customer in the most efficient and friendly way while eliminating the common Day 2 exception processing. Transactions keyed in at the point of presentment detect errors immediately and avoid costly delays in additional handling of the items.
The Bank of Tescott's Citrix environment made front counter capture a challenge to accommodate which made selecting a new partner difficult. After diligent research, they discovered IBT and found their products supported Citrix and the terminal server environment minimizing the need to change their infrastructure and keeping the investment reasonable.
"Most front counter capture systems are simple solutions that overlay a current teller platform. IBT is unique in offering a comprehensive integrated capture and teller solution. A clear advantage to the integrated solution is the accurate balance information throughout the day. Most overlay capture applications are limited to memo posting of only the credits within a deposit, the IBT i2Teller capture solution supports debiting the on-us items within the transaction as well. This total integration approach prevents additional handling of NSF items in the Day 2 process and the false approval of electronic transactions against insufficient customer balances," stated Mark Dittman, IBT CEO.
