BT has today announced that it is expanding the scope of applications available to the cloud based community on the BT Radianz Managed Infrastructure with LockPath's Keylight platform for governance, risk and compliance (GRC).
This is the first of several Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications being made available through the BT Radianz cloud to address broader business needs of customers.
LockPath's Keylight platform provides US and internationally regulated businesses with a fully automated governance, risk and compliance data reconciliation and reporting process. It consolidates business critical risk and compliance data into a clear, easy-to-use dashboard and provides a single point of control that ensures compliance across the enterprise.
Customers can leverage the security and privacy of the BT Radianz cloud to access the Keylight application, while having the option to simultaneously host data in any of the global BT Radianz Hosting data centres. With the increasing number of financial regulations, the members of the BT Radianz community can benefit from secure, reliable access to an automated compliance and risk management platform provided by LockPath.
Traditionally, the applications accessible via the BT Radianz cloud have been oriented towards pre-trade, trading and post-trade usage - this move introduces a richer and broader scope of applications readily accessible to the BT Radianz community.
José Antonio Martinez, managing director, Radianz & Payments, BT, said: "The demand for automated solutions to manage governance, risk and compliance requirements has grown significantly since the financial crisis. For many organisations, manual reconciliation and reporting of data is now almost impossible to sustain due to time constraints, resource constraints and tightening regulations.
"Feedback from our financial community shows that users want access to financial and governance, risk and compliance applications via a single, secure reference point to their organisation. We are excited to respond to these market requirements by offering Keylight to the BT Radianz community. Our 15,000 member locations around the world can now access this SaaS based application inin a secure, scalable and reliable way."
Chris Caldwell, CEO of LockPath, said: "We've chosen to work with BT because it offers a scalable environment with a world-class infrastructure that is best suited to hosting our Keylight platform. The transfer of sensitive data is a primary concern for our customers, and the BT Radianz secure managed cloud fulfils this requirement.
"This deal creates additional functionality and value for both BT's and LockPath's customers by providing a next-generation risk platform that can now be accessed via a trusted environment."
LockPath's Keylight platform is available now through the BT Radianz cloud. BT's global professional services capabilities can assist customers in the roll-out and implementation of the Keylight platform if desired.
