The new deal confirms GFAS as one of Europe's most widely used commercial transfer agency systems. Today the system services over 7 million account holdings, 60 fund groups, 5000 funds and US$175 billion in funds under management.

Ian Sanderson, IT director, Schroders Luxembourg, says: "GFAS is the system at the very heart of our European transfer agency operation, enabling us to deliver a robust and reliable range of services to our increasingly global client base. This extension of our relationship with MFT demonstrates our confidence in the ability of GFAS to support our growing mutual funds business in Luxembourg."

Bob Milotte, Managing Director of Mutual Fund Technologies, said, "We are delighted that Schroders have decided to extend their contract with us. Over the past five years MFT have built an excellent relationship with Schroders and we look forward to continuing to build on this in the future."
