Vindicia, a leading provider of SaaS billing solutions that help digital leaders optimize customer retention and acquisition through integrated marketing best practices, today announced its expansion to Toronto, Ontario, Canada, to support its rapidly growing customer base in the country.

The move underscores the company's continued growth and increased demand for its solutions and services globally.

The Toronto office will support Vindicia's existing Canadian clients and allow it to broaden its exposure to Canada's digital leaders across markets from dating to online gaming. Among Vindicia's newer Canadian clients are Magmic, a leader in mobile entertainment, and BuddieShops, a leading online game marketplace.

Billing globally is critically important for online merchants and today accounts for nearly 25% of the transactions processed through Vindicia CashBoxTM. CashBox enables clients to transact in local currency, send communications in local languages and accept payment types popular in a particular geography, including Canadian-specific payment methods like Canadian electronic check. CashBox also automatically calculates and applies the appropriate Canadian GST/HST through its built-in sales tax engine.

"Vindicia's robust tools are crucial to our current and future initiatives in mobile entertainment commerce, including micropayments, in-app purchasing, and virtual goods," said Fraser Cole, Director of Consumer Marketing for Magmic. "Continued growth of Texas Hold'em King Live (THK Live) and our other brands will depend on the flexible framework that is at the core of the Vindicia CashBox platform."

"Vindicia is a clear leader in their space, and its CashBox solution will grow with us seamlessly as we continue to expand our own offerings and customer base," said Eric Wei, CEO, BuddieShops. "Vindicia's team understands the link between customer retention and billing and the complexities therein -- and that this relationship is a critical competitive advantage in a marketplace that demands these insights."

"Canada is a critically important market for us and we have witnessed broad demand for our services from every province," said Chairman and CEO Gene Hoffman. "As we are growing faster than we expected, we have the opportunity to invest even more in this key region in 2011 and beyond."

CashBox addresses the needs of digital merchants of all sizes, from those who generate hundreds of invoices per month, to ones that handle tens of thousands of credit card transactions per day. The CashBox solution enables digital merchants to optimize how they deliver their content and services, collect payment and account information in a PCI-compliant fashion, enable customer self-service and expedite customer care.
