VSoft Corporation, a global information and technology provider of process improvement tools for financial institutions, announced at NACHA's Payments 2005 Conference that First State Bank, Louise (FSB), a $100 million asset sized independent bank headquartered in Louise, TX, has implemented VSoft's eDesk family of products for imaging and check image exchange.

Eight products under the eDesk name: ImagePOD, Power Proof, Branch Item Capture, Check 21, Research, Statements, Document Imaging, and COLD are included in the FSB implementation.

FSB previously outsourced its imaging needs.

"VSoft has provided First State Bank, Louise with a cost effective and complete solution to automate all of our imaging needs," said Chip Jenkins, executive vice president, First State Bank, Louise. "The eDesk solutions will allow Louise to gain control of operating costs, reduce operational errors, improve customer satisfaction, and provide the bank with value added services to deliver to our clients."

The eDesk family of products is a browser-based portal, providing a single point of entry for a variety of technology modules. Presenting the same look and feel across all its screens, eDesk allows seamless integration between its check processing and imaging products. eDesk includes products that cover back office, operations, Check 21 legislation, lockbox processing and retail functions. eDesk provides a high-powered query engine and flexible multi-bank, multi-site and multi-date processing, designed to maximize core banking efficiencies and reduce operational costs.

"First State Bank, Louise will benefit from having a simplified vendor relationship - VSoft's unique value proposition," said Murthy Veeraghanta, president, VSoft Corporation. "VSoft developed eDesk from the ground up as a seamlessly integrated Microsoft .NET application. It utilizes a single database and resides on a single Microsoft server for all the bank's imaging needs."

FSB will implement VSoft's Image POD and Power Proof at their central processing center. Four remote branches will have VSoft's Branch Item Capture installed, and the images they generate will be transmitted to the central location to perform CAR/LAR, Reject, Reentry and Balancing, and Check 21 cash letter.
