Compass Plus, the global payments software provider, today announced the availability of TranzWare Online Universal Payment Gateway an addition to its TranzWare Online product.

The gateway enables financial institutions and other payment processors to quickly build interfaces, if not already available from Compass Plus' extensive library, for the connection to payment or billing applications in an efficient, secure and seamless manner.

The TranzWare Online Universal Payment Gateway gives financial institutions the tools to develop interfaces that connect with any new or existing payment or billing application. The new functionality enables financial institutions to accelerate the development of interfaces in-house, streamlining operations, reducing development costs and speeding time to market. As a result TranzWare Online goes beyond customisation and makes financial institutions more agile by empowering them to extend interfaces and deliver new services and features to customers.

"New disruptive players from outside the traditional financial services space are challenging existing players to deliver the latest features and services to customers quickly. To compete, financial institutions need to rapidly interface with a plethora of existing and new systems," comments Filipe Dos Santos, Regional Sales Director for Europe, Compass Plus. "Our Universal Payment Gateway within TranzWare Online provides our customers with the agility and flexibility to stay one step ahead of the market."

The Universal Payment Gateway is part of TranzWare Online which provides financial institutions and payment processors with the ability to switch, route, authorise and manage electronic payments from multiple devices and delivery channels all on a single platform. In addition, the product offers an extensive built-in library of 50+ host-to-host interfaces and enables end-to-end terminal driving and monitoring.
