Bats Global Markets, a global stock market operator, today announced the availability of its Multicast Pitch real-time depth of book data feed for the Bats Exchanges via GuavaTech's Ultra-Low Latency exchange connectivity technology.

Members of the BATS BZX Exchange and BYX Exchange can connect to the BATS trading platform and Multicast PITCH feed via the GuavaTech Ultra-Low Latency network.

"We are excited to enable our clients access to the BATS Multicast PITCH data feed for their equities markets via our Ultra-Low-Latency connection," said Michael Pappas, Senior Vice President at GuavaTech. "Providing swift, reliable and efficient access to market leaders such as BATS, which accounts for 11% of U.S. equities trading on any given day, ensures our clients have the tools they need to succeed in today's competitive marketplace."

The BATS Multicast PITCH data feed provides real-time depth of book quotations and execution information and is just one of the free market data feeds offered by BATS.

"Furthering our commitment to an open connectivity model, we are pleased to welcome GuavaTech as a connectivity provider of the BATS Exchange's Multicast PITCH data feed," said Chris Isaacson, chief operating officer of BATS Exchange. "Through GuavaTech's low latency connectivity, users have immediate and efficient access to BATS market data."
