Nationwide extends i-design ATM advertising deal

i-design, the developer and supplier of the world-leading marketing solution for ATMs and self-service machines, is pleased to announce that it has extended its existing contract with Nationwide Building Society ("Nationwide").

The multi-year exclusive contract covers Nationwide's entire network of ATMs and self-service machines, totalling approximately 2,300.

Under the terms of the contract, Nationwide utilises i-design's solution to run both its own marketing communication with customers and to generate additional revenues through third party advertisers via i-design's specialist media sales and operations service. Nationwide's ATM estate is especially attractive to third party advertisers since the majority of ATMs are based in high footfall locations and see high volumes of transactions.

i-design's software, which facilitates on-screen and receipt marketing communication, is feature-rich and easily integrated with banks' existing IT architecture. In addition, the technology is platform-independent and so can be deployed across any type of Windows-based ATM environment.

Nationwide was an early adopter of i-design's market leading solution, signing its first contract with the company in 2003.
