Panini, a global payments processing technology provider, and Cachet Financial Solutions, a leading provider of remote deposit capture (RDC) solutions, are partnering to offer RDC to Apple Macintosh users.

The two companies combined their state-of-the-art technology to deliver an unparalleled RDC solution for Mac-based small businesses. RDC Select™, featuring the Panini I:Deal®, is the first RDC solution to offer native support in a Mac environment along with true MICR capture, providing Mac users the RDC benefits that, until now, were only available to PC users.

"We are excited to partner with Panini to extend the value of our RDC Select™ platform to Apple's Mac users," says Jeffrey Mack, President & CEO, Cachet Financial Solutions. "Cachet is in the business of providing the most advanced and industry-leading RDC solutions to financial institutions and their customers; this partnership will allow us to do just that. Utilizing the Panini I:Deal and Cachet's Select Business Mac solution, Mac users will be able to experience all the benefits of remote deposit capture that PC owners currently enjoy."

Cachet's industry-leading, patent-pending RDC Select™ platform for Mac operating systems is a Web-based solution that allows financial institutions greater freedom and flexibility when providing RDC to their Mac customers. RDC Select™ is more efficient for end users and more cost-effective with reduced requirements for internal support from financial institutions. Cachet's software solution enables merchants to process checks in a single pass, validate their authenticity and forward items to financial institutions for digital deposit, eliminating the costs associated with manual deposit processes.

The Panini I:Deal, designed specifically for small business RDC, is the preferred check scanner offered with RDC Select™. The scanner utilizes patented technologies to deliver capabilities critical for RDC success including high quality dual-sided image capture, document franking, and advanced reading technologies in the areas of MICR and OCR. Additionally, through self-adjusting capabilities, the Panini I:Deal provides an optimal user experience in the wide variety of environmental conditions encountered in small business RDC implementations.

"The Panini I:Deal is already receiving great feedback from Mac users," adds Michael Pratt, Chief Marketing Officer, Panini. "It's very easy to use, accommodating users lacking familiarity with check processing, and offers consistency with their current Apple technology with a unique visual appeal, fitting naturally and comfortably in their office and SOHO environments."
