Fana Sparebank has entered into a renewed and expanded contract with EDB ErgoGroup for the supply of IT services.

The agreement runs for five years, and represents total contract value in excess of NOK 100 million.

"This is an important contract for EDB ErgoGroup. It confirms that our solutions are competitive and meet the needs of independent banks as well as bank alliances. We are extremely pleased to announce this continuation of the long and excellent collaboration we enjoy with Fana Sparebank", comments Wiljar Nesse, Executive Vice President and Head of the Financial Services business area at EDB ErgoGroup.

"We placed great importance when selecting our supplier on finding a vendor that would help us to achieve our business objectives. As part of our commitment to achieving these objectives, we wish to improve the efficiency of our business processes and improve our dialogue with customers. We already enjoyed good collaboration with EDB ErgoGroup, and this combined with the company's attractive services and local presence were key factors in our choice of supplier", says Bjørn Alræk, General Manager, Strategy & Business Development at Fana Sparebank.

About the agreement

The agreement includes IT solutions and operating services for the bank's new electronic services. In addition, a number of new services are elements of the agreement. The agreement also includes extensive renewal of the bank's systems for credit management and customer administration.

The agreement runs from 1 February 2011 to and including 31 December 2015, and represents total contract value over this period in excess of NOK 100 million.
