HFN's three new metro financial exchange routes include:
• Steeles Ave. in Markham, Canada to 151 Front St. in Toronto, ON, Canada (estimated sub 389 microseconds RTD)
• 111 8th Ave., NY, NY to 755 Secaucus Rd. in Secaucus, NJ (estimated sub 110 microseconds RTD)
• 111 8th Ave., NY, NY to 300 Boulevard East, Weehawken, NJ (estimated sub 74 microseconds RTD)

"These three routes provide a competitive advantage for our financial services customers, significantly cutting latency and getting them to the exchanges faster," said Brett Diamond, President of HFN. "Our newest route in Canada from Steeles Ave. to 151 Front St. is the fastest and most diverse path providing clients ultimate speed and redundancy."

"With so many choices out there, the key in high-frequency trading is aligning with a network provider that constantly monitors and evaluates customers' needs for growth including: lowering latency, increasing bandwidth, security and ultimately lowering the total cost of ownership," added Diamond.

Buy-side and sell-side customers and pre- and post-trade service providers who utilize these routes will also benefit from HFN's passive wavelength optical network -- cutting the need for additional equipment at these destinations and further lowering latency.
