Kemba Credit Union renews Star network membership

Kemba Credit Union of West Chester, Ohio, has renewed its membership in the Star network, naming Star its preferred provider of PIN-secured debit point-of-sale (POS) and ATM access, and adding debit processing from First Data.

Kemba serves more than 60,000 members in the Greater Cincinnati area. The credit union has more than $468 million in assets, issues 37,000 debit cards and operates 10 ATMs. STAR is one of the nation's leading electronic funds transfer (EFT) networks, with more than 2 million retail and ATM locations, and a First Data company. First Data is a global leader in electronic commerce and payment processing.

"We are expanding that relationship to include debit processing from First Data, so we are able to further take advantage of processing integration and payments expertise from industry leaders."

Kemba Credit Union has been a STAR member since 2006. Terms of the agreement remain confidential.
