Under the two-year agreement, ID Data Cards will support the company's expansion plans for the Chip & PIN Kalixa Card into new European markets, providing a complete plastic card solution for all production and fulfilment requirements.

Vincento Payment Solutions has been working with ID Data Cards since the beginning of 2008, when the company was developing its MasterCard prepaid card program. Originally named Cactus but later rebranded as Kalixa, the scheme was introduced in the UK in February 2009, followed by subsequent launches in Germany in November 2009 and most recently in Italy earlier this year.

ID Data Cards has handled every aspect of the production and fulfilment process for Kalixa including design, manufacturing, personalisation and mailing, with Vincento Payment Solutions planning to launch Kalixa into five other European countries.
