Trading Technologies International, Inc. (TT) and Cunningham Trading Systems, LLC (CTS) today announced that they have agreed to settle a lawsuit pending in the United States District for the Northern District of Illinois in Chicago alleging that CTS and Cunningham Commodities, LLC infringed various TT patents.
Pursuant to the settlement, CTS has agreed to take a ten year worldwide royalty bearing license under the vast majority of TT's patent portfolio. TT has the largest portfolio of electronic trading related patents, with over 190 U.S. issued patents and many pending patent applications covering various innovations.
