Trintech (NASDAQ:TTPA; Prime Standard:TTP), a leading provider of transaction reconciliation and payment infrastructure solutions, today announced the availability of a new User Access Report to support ongoing Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 documentation requirements for internal controls.

The new ReconNET User Access Report enables companies to proactively analyze their user access controls and facilitate their efforts to document financial processes to comply with recurring Sarbanes-Oxley audit requirements.

The User Access Report documents all operator and administrator rights and system access settings of the ReconNET system. As a result, managers can identify whether a control is effectively implemented, and whether the person performing reconciliation tasks has the appropriate permissions. Periodically generating and reviewing the report enables managers to identify areas of potential non-compliance and make control changes before an audit.

"The User Access Report gives us a highly-detailed view of our system. The report enabled us to quickly identify a user who had "make changes" access to an account when the permission-level should have been limited to "view only"," said Nancy Martinez, Treasury and Collection Manager for Michaels Stores. "Beyond helping us with SOX compliance, this report is helping us manage our internal business controls and ensure that our users have appropriate access to ReconNET functions."

The User Access Report is designed to help companies: maintain accurate documentation for Sarbanes-Oxley as their business rules and staff responsibilities evolve; minimize compliance efforts without incurring burdensome recurring costs; and provide auditors with the level of detailed and accurate reporting they demand.

"The User Access Report is another way Trintech is helping companies address the ongoing challenges of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance in their Treasury department," said John Harte, General Manager of Trintech's Funds Management Systems Division." In addition to our software solutions, our Professional Services group also offers Sarbanes-Oxley consulting to provide best-practice reconciliation recommendations to promote enhanced security and streamline workflow."
