Ingenico signs mobile operators to TransferTo network

With the addition of Vodafone UK, Telenor Pakistan, Zong, Millicom Ghana, Airtel Nigeria and Vodacom Tanzania, more than 165 operators worldwide partner with TransferTo. The partnerships in Ghana, Nigeria, and Tanzania are major additions to TransferTo's Global Airtime Remittance hub and witness TransferTo's commitment to deploy its service across Africa.

Vodafone UK Wholesale announced an exclusive agreement with TransferTo, to offer international top up transfer services. This gives Vodafone UK MVNO customers the ability to transfer value from a prepay or a postpay account in the UK and apply a top up credit to an international prepay phone.

Telenor Pakistan and TransferTo have joined hands to enable International Top-Ups to Telenor subscribers from overseas. Pakistanis living abroad can now conveniently top-up their loved ones' phones with Telenor Pakistan airtime through any of TransferTo's authorized partners, as well as the consumer-facing website, www.transferto.com.

Zong, a brand of China Mobile Pakistan (CMPak), and TransferTo announced that Zong Prepaid airtime will now be for sale on TransferTo's extensive international top-up network. With this new development, Pakistanis living abroad can easily top-up Zong prepaid subscribers back home via international airtime transfer network, which is comprised of mobile operators, point of sale retailers, and its online top-up service, www.transferto.com.

With the addition of Telenor Pakistan and Zong to its network, TransferTo now offers a 100% coverage in Pakistan, a major destination country for international remittances.

Millicom Ghana, operator of the Tigo network, which is one of Ghana's leading Mobile Network Operators, unveiled a major agreement with TransferTo to provide Ghanaians living abroad with a platform to enable them to remit small amounts of value to their loved ones in Ghana. Value is in the form of prepaid top-ups, an ideal low cost, high value complement to money remittances.

Leading telecommunications services provider, Airtel Nigeria has sealed a pact with TransferTo to launch Airtel Nigeria International Airtime Transfer service. This service will enable Nigerians living abroad to send airtime to their family and friends in Nigeria via prepaid top-ups. International prepaid recharge complements cash remittances.

Vodacom Tanzania, Tanzania's leading Mobile Network Operator, announced that it has launched an International Airtime Transfer service, operated by TransferTo. With this service Tanzanian's living abroad, in the UK, South Africa, the USA or elsewhere, are able to transfer small amounts of value to their loved ones in Tanzania in the form of prepaid airtime. By partnering with TransferTo Vodacom Tanzania will not only offer a new and innovative value transfer channel but will also reach a strategic and difficult to access customer segment, Tanzanians living abroad.
