Besides Solution Providers and Orbium, Avaloq has been closely collaborating with its Implementation Partners Comit and Sofgen in Asia for several years. By expanding its partner network in Asia, Avaloq has reached a further decisive step in its internationalisation strategy.

Marcel Föllmi, Managing Director of Avaloq Asia Pacific Pte Ltd, is pleased by the announcement of the two Implementation Partners: "By naming Solution Providers and Orbium as new Implementation Partners in Singapore we are emphasising our strong commitment to the APAC market. This is also to the advantage of our existing and potential clients in Asia in general and in Singapore in particular. Avaloq aims at collaborating with the most experienced and excellent partners in order to boost the performance of its clients."

Solution Providers - as one of the eldest Implementation Partners - was among the first to enter into the Asian market. This process was made easily and naturally during the last three years, since they have been largely involved in basically all of Avaloq's implementation projects in Asia, e.g. during the implementation of the Avaloq Banking System in banks such as DBS, Nomura, Sarasin, RBS Coutts, and VP Bank. With its office in Singapore - consisting of both expatriates as well as a large proportion of local employees - Solution Providers is well positioned to continue Avaloq's expansion into the greater Asian markets.

Dr. Mario A. Bassi, Managing Director and Head Asia at Solution Providers, is happy about the new status of the company: "With the set-up of our office in Singapore in 2007 we underlined our strong believe in the increasing importance of the Asian market for the financial industry.
Becoming an official Implementation Partner of Avaloq marks another milestone in our growth strategy to support our European clients in their Asian expansion as well as broadening our Asian client base with the full service cycle from business strategy to change management."

As an Implementation Partner in Avaloq's main strategic markets and the Implementation Partner that led Avaloq's first international project, it was a natural step for Orbium to follow Avaloq in their bid to conquer the Asian market. A year and a half after opening its South East Asian office, Orbium already has an experienced Avaloq implementation team based in Singapore which complements its global team made up of more than 100 certified Avaloq professionals worldwide.

Manuel Anton, Partner of Orbium, comments on the international expansion of the partnership with Avaloq which further consolidates the companies' cooperation: „Avaloq and Orbium have been working closely together for the past seven years and the partnership has proven itself over the years. As a Premium Implementation Partner of Avaloq in Switzerland and Implementation Partner in Luxembourg we aim at becoming a global partner of Avaloq. Being appointed Implementation Partner in Singapore reflects Orbium's continued support and important role in Avaloq's internationalization strategy."

Avaloq's Singapore branch, which was opened in 2007, has been strongly expanding during the past few years. In summer 2010, the Swiss market leader for integrated banking solutions expanded its presence in Asia by opening a branch office in Hong Kong. Avaloq's clients in Asia benefit strongly from the experience and know-how based at the regional branch offices. The company provides its clients with a first-rate local customer support and localised product adaptations. For this reason, a dedicated Model Bank configuration with Asian best practices is maintained locally. The Model Bank enables Avaloq to introduce its Swiss quality product in a quick and cost-efficient manner at every kind of Asian banks.
