The product has been specifically developed for processors and transaction switches, to address the specific challenges faced within this unique market, including how best to provide value and flexibility to its members and how to reduce the time and cost of certification. T3:Switch provides the unique ability to support natively multi legged messages enabling true end to end testing, from acquirer through to issuer, vital in the processor environment.

'Testing is always important to an organisation's success, within the payments industry it is genuinely mission critical.' Said Anthony Walton, Managing Director, Iliad Solutions. 'Processors have always had to make a number of compromises when it comes to creating their test environments, surrendering the integrity of testing multi legged messages by using isolated and disparate simulators. The creation of T3:Switch allows processors to utilise custom test data or to manipulate production data right across the transaction path, improving quality whilst at the same time maintaining the legitimacy of all EMV and dynamic data.'

T3:Switch has evolved from the concepts already established by Iliad with T3, proven daily by financial institutions and software companies throughout the world. The 'Harness' design acts as a high speed switching system, to allow for functional and stress tests to use the same test processes and data. This design also provides the ability for test teams across all continents to share all test hardware and test components with fully configurable user access and security models, to ensure PCI compliance. The Relational Database Management System consolidates all data in to one reusable and fully auditable test resource, T3:Switch's open technology methodology provides rapid testing and development capabilities of all payment system components.

'Iliad's experience within the payments and testing industry has built a knowledge within the organisation of mission critical architectures and how best to apply this within a processor environment. The strength of T3:Switch is the complete testing experience it provides, fully end to end. There is one consistent GUI and a relational database which ensures the highest possible levels of intuitive use, repeatability and auditability, removing the test result fragmentation which is an inherent problem within isolated systems. We have found that this consistent approach minimises deployment, training and implementation costs, within organisations we currently work with and can now be extended to processors with T3:Switch. ' Walton continues

The value T3:Switch can bring to processors has already been recognised within the market and a project with a Tier 1 payments processor has already begun. T3:Switch was selected in this instance to replace a number of legacy 3rd Party and in-house testing tools operating throughout the organisation. This was completed without the loss of any legacy test data, which can be imported in to T3:Switch meaning previous test artefacts can be reused.
