Last week, the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA), named Triton ICBA's Preferred Service Provider for ATM machines.

According to ICBA, Triton was selected as the association's preferred service provider for ATMs for a variety of reasons including their ability to work with virtually any existing network and a track record of reliability. In addition, Triton is fully compliant with all security mandates and ADA requirements.

"Being chosen as ICBA's preferred provider for ATM machines is an important milestone for Triton," said Brian Kett, president of Triton. "The selection is a testament to our outstanding track record."

Kett said that Triton's track record of providing the best solution for overall low cost of ownership to retail customers will be brought to our new banking customers. "The banking industry's recognition reaffirms that Triton is well positioned to add significant value to the ICBA membership with high- quality ATM machines at the most affordable cost."

Triton continues to gain ground in the banking ATM market, as the banking side is where the company started in the ATM industry. In 1985, Triton developed the world's first battery powered and completely portable device for banks to train customers on ATM usage. Much of Triton's growth has come from the retail, or the off-premise ATM market since the company began production of ATM's in 1994.

Camden Fine, president and CEO of ICBA, commented, "We are pleased to establish a new relationship with Triton. As our members expand their existing ATM networks and replace existing equipment, it is essential that we team up with a provider that has the expertise, relationships and demonstrated ability to assist our members with cost effective solutions."

Jim Goetz, president and CEO of Security First Bank of North Dakota in Center, ND, which has deployed several Triton ATM machines, added, "Triton ATMs have proven to be a cost effective alternative and a great match for our bank. Using Triton ATM machines has helped us match the high expectations of our customers while balancing the cost of operations."
