Finnish S-Bank tests applications with Tieto

Tieto has made an agreement with S-Bank for the supply of cloud-based testing management. The implementation of the new service started in October 2010.

S-Bank operates in Finland and is the only supermarket bank in the country with approximately 2.3 million customers.

Monika Liikamaa, responsible for service production at S-Bank, says, "We are a fast-growing bank, and our systems are continuously enhanced with new functionalities. By improving the management of testing we want to ensure the quality of our customers' bank services". According to Liikamaa, Tieto's service model fits the bank's business needs, as the system adapts quickly and flexibly as the needs change.

Jussi Grönholm, Vice President of Tieto's Financial Services in Finland, says, "We are happy to offer our long-term customer a cost-effective cloud solution for testing management. S-Bank will use Tieto's testing management over the internet and the service cost is based on the use."
