CIB originally installed BankWare.NET (core banking), iBank (internet banking) and MLTrac (antimoney laundering) in 2008, following CIB's comprehensive review of its IT infrastructure and expectation of client demands for the next decade.

Paul Muspratt, Managing Director of the bank, said "At CIB we provide banking services exclusively to the offshore financial services industry and pride ourselves on giving a first-class service to all our clients. Timeliness and speed of response in terms up-to the-minute account information and the straight through processing of client transactions is key to maintaining that level of service. At CIB we have consequently focused on the latest technology and to keep abreast of our clients' expectations this has to be kept up-to-date."

Matthew Day, Sales Director of i-Financial, said; "We are pleased that CIB has taken this step and that everything has gone so well. Not only will the bank benefit from the new features and functional improvements within BankWare.NET but they will also be taking advantage the very latest technology that Microsoft has to offer."
