ITRS Group, the leading global provider of predictive, real-time monitoring and proactive application performance management solutions to the world's financial community, has announced the launch of a new interface to the Thomson Reuters Enterprise Platform for Real-Time (TREP), which distributes, integrates and manages real-time information across financial institutions.
Increasing trading volumes, operational pressures and additional regulatory requirements have focused the need for intelligent real-time knowledge across the disparate and diverse components that comprise the enterprise trading infrastructure. The ITRS TREP interface responds to these pressures by providing a consistent enterprise-wide management framework which enables operations teams to manage multiple, geographically-dispersed, mixed 64 bit TREP and 32 bit RMDS environments for all versions of Thomson Reuters market data distribution systems. It combines real-time metrics on data-feed latency, trading and risk to provide key intelligence on the full TREP environment as well as a complete history of performance values from monitored elements, detailing performance changes and use characteristics for subsequent analysis and review. The new Geneos interface supports all Thomson Reuters market data distribution platforms, including Triarch, TIBCO and RMDS as well as TREP.
The metrics are displayed on the Geneos workstation, which is highly intuitive, flexible and fully configurable by the user. Operations staff can create rules and set up automated responses to events. The interface has a very small software footprint, ensuring a minimal impact on performance, and provides a complete service-level view of activity across the enterprise.
Stephen Bates, CEO of ITRS Group, said, "We are delighted to launch our new TREP interface as it significantly enhances risk management for Thomson Reuters market data clients through comprehensive real-time monitoring and management information. ITRS Geneos is unique in allowing operations teams to focus on the key performance metrics, required to provide a complete end-to-end view of critical market data systems in real-time. The TREP interface enables them to confidently manage multiple, mixed TREP, RMDS and TIBCO environments without the need for additional training or a complex integration project."
