Citi today announced its Global Transaction Services has launched new enhancements of its award-winning Citibank Online Investments (OLI).
With the widest global coverage of any investments portal, OLI enables clients to centralize and control their short-term investment activity. This new version introduces several new features - including Money Market Fund Investment Policy Management - to assist treasury organizations in minimizing operational risk, complying with investment policy, and integrating investment data into treasury management systems.
With this version, clients can enhance management of their global short-term investment activity on a pre- and post-trade basis:
Pre-trade - clients can set money market fund ownership limits, receive online or email alerts if preset policies are being breached, and retain flexibility for authorized users to override limits and complete trades, if required. Verification of policy compliance, identification of available capacity, and trade execution can all be managed from one online screen.
Post-trade - investment trade details can be seamlessly integrated with clients' treasury workstations or portfolio analytics tools such as Citi TreasuryAnalytics, eliminating the need for manual entries. The release also introduces enhanced reporting features to provide clients greater visibility into their investments, including account positions, fund balances and dividend activity.
Clients can access OLI through Citi's global portals: CitiDirect Online Banking, CitiDirect for Securities and TreasuryVision. OLI investment capabilities are available in 27 countries and 18 currencies as well as for over 150 domestic and offshore money funds from 15 of the largest institutional money fund providers. Coupled with Citi's unparalleled worldwide scope, these tools provide treasury managers with powerful solutions for end-to-end global cash management.
