Fiserv (NASDAQ: FISV), the leading global provider of financial services technology solutions, today announced that Center Bank, a $2.2 billion community bank offering a full range of financial services for diverse ethnic and small business customers, is now live on the Premier bank platform, with outsourced processing from Fiserv.

According to industry analysts, Premier from Fiserv is the core banking solution with the largest customer base in North America.

Center Bank was processed by an independent data center that licensed Premier from Fiserv, but has chosen to outsource its account processing through a Fiserv data center. Founded in 1986, Los Angeles-based Center Bank is one of the nation's leading financial institutions focusing on the Korean-American community. It operates 19 branches throughout Southern and Northern California, with additional locations in the Seattle area and Chicago. Specializing in commercial and small business loans and trade finance products, Center Bank will continue to benefit from the integrated, scalable and flexible Premier solution.

"Staying with Premier ensured a very smooth migration, maintains our high level of customer service and will enable faster access to enhancements and functionality from Fiserv," said Joseph Kim, senior vice president and IT manager for Center Bank. "The integration among Fiserv solutions was a differentiator for us because we want to avoid the frustration of information silos that don't talk to each other."

"One of the keys to Center Bank's long-running success has been consistent delivery of outstanding customer service," said Sam Langham, president of the Western Region data center for Fiserv. "By selecting Fiserv for outsourced processing, Center Bank has a partner that shares that same philosophy of customer-centricity. The Premier platform provides Center Bank with a powerful technology foundation backed by the stability of Fiserv."
