Chartway Federal Credit Union chooses Fis m-banking platform

Fis (NYSE: FIS), one of the world's largest providers of banking and payments technology, today announced that Chartway Federal Credit Union (FCU) has implemented the FIS Mobile Banking platform in order to provide members with the latest in personalized banking services from their mobile phones.

Located in Virginia Beach, Va., Chartway FCU has $1.8 billion in assets, approximately 210,000 members and branch locations in 10 states. Chartway also utilizes FIS for ATM/debit card processing and eBanking services. With the addition of mobile banking, Chartway members will benefit from a seamless and secure experience across Chartway's credit and debit processing, online banking and mobile channels.

The FIS Mobile Banking platform helps financial institutions meet the needs of their customers. The mobile offering from FIS enhances customer service levels, while being easy for banks and credit unions to implement. As a consumer-focused solution, FIS' mobile solution allows bank customers or credit union members to perform transactions quickly and easily from their mobile devices via text, mobile Web and downloadable applications for smartphones.
