Capital IQ, a Standard & Poor's business and a leading provider of data and analytics for global financial professionals, announced the launch of a proprietary data collection technology that enables the intraday delivery of full financial statements, ratios, and trading multiples sourced from earnings releases. Minutes after announcement, Capital IQ clients can now view fully standardized and auditable financials of companies trading on North American exchanges, including ADRs.

The new proprietary collection method will provide access to comprehensive standardized financial statements faster than any other financial data provider while carrying an industry-leading level of transparency, integrity, and detail. All financials are fully standardized using Capital IQ's comprehensive collection taxonomy and methodology and are seamlessly integrated within the Capital IQ Platform. Clients can access the full suite of financial statements, ratios, and multiples via Capital IQ's company financial pages, Charting, Screening, Excel Plug-In, and Web Services.

"Having access to comprehensive and accurate financial statements minutes after earnings releases is crucial to the workflow of any financial professional," said Randall Winn, executive managing director of Capital IQ. "With the new collection process in place, our client base can continue to work faster and generate better investment ideas by accessing financials in real time."
