Gemalto invests in Canadian EMV migration
Gemalto, the world leader in digital security, announced the expansion of its state-of-the-art facility in Burlington, Ontario, to serve its growing EMV customer base in Canada. The investment will double the capacity and accommodate the need for delivering additional cardholder services. The site is the first in Canada to personalize dual-interface smart banking cards that enable both contactless and contact payment.

Gemalto's Burlington facility provides EMV payment cards as well as complete data preparation, card personalization and fulfillment services for numerous financial institutions throughout Canada. Drawing on its global EMV migration and consulting experience, Gemalto also provides high-quality consulting for a smooth transition to microprocessor cards.
