The SWIFTReady programme certifies products based on clear criteria to provide SWIFT users with the SWIFT compliant technology and functionality that help optimize financial data integration between back-office systems and the SWIFT community. It also enables improved straight-through-processing levels thereby reducing manual processing errors. Tieto's payment solutions have been certified as SWIFTReady for over 10 consecutive years.

In addition, Tieto has successfully completed the SWIFT Interface backwards compatibility tests. This means that Tieto's interface solutions are compliant with the SWIFTNet connectivity requirements and are prepared to benefit from the advanced messaging features provided by SWIFTNet Release 7.

Dagfinn Loen, Senior Sales Manager, Tieto Financial Services, comments: "Tieto is fully committed to continuously stay aligned with SWIFT's standards and services. Our proven commitment is reassuring for the customers who have a long-term relationship with Tieto, as well as a pre-requisite for new customers considering partnering with us."

SWIFT initiated the SWIFTReady programme to maintain the highest standards of SWIFT compliance for third-party applications and service providers.
