Trace gets SwiftReady messaging data services label

Trace Financial today announced that its message and data transformation product Transformer has been re-awarded the SwiftReady Messaging Data Services (MDS) accreditation label.

Working with complex messaging standards is a key strategic issue for financial institutions and the SWIFT standards are as complex as any available. Each year SWIFT extends the criteria for its MDS label to reflect evolving industry needs with a focus on MT and MX standards - especially the ability to map between them for co-existence.

Transformer meets these challenges with ease and produces solutions that can be easily maintained by clients themselves. Furthermore these solutions can be deployed within any technical infrastructure - including Trace's own Cloverleaf®finance product, SWIFT's Integrator solution as well as numerous other third-party message-bus / web-service infrastructures.

Transformer's unique approach means it is the only product that can handle these levels of complexity in a way that can be used by both business analysts and programmers, minimising overall effort and delivering to the most rapid development timescales. Furthermore the recent award by SWIFT of the Financial Enterprise Application Integration label for Cloverleaf®finance means Trace is the only company world-wide to secure both SWIFT integration labels.

Eric Meirlaen, Business Development Manager at SWIFT commented, "The Transformer product has significantly impressed many people at SWIFT over several years and its ongoing ability to handle complex financial message scenarios is proof of its power and of Trace's capabilities. We are pleased to formally recognize and applaud these capabilities with the award of the SWIFTReady label in our Messaging Data Service category".

John Murphy, Managing Director, Trace Financial, said, "Transformer is a unique technology that revolutionises the ability of an enterprise to cope with complex standards. It is built on twenty years' experience we have of delivering messaging solutions. What gives us most pleasure and confidence is the tremendous feedback from our clients and the MDS award is further validation of Transformer's world-leading status".
